No limit on the number of concurrent TimeSite users
There is no limit to the number of users that can be supported by the TimeSite application. Users only need to size hardware based on the number of anticipated concurrent users. For very large sites (greater than 500 users), Timesite can be installed across up to four different servers: database server, web services server, scheduling server, and web server. For even larger sites each of these servers can be clustered or load balanced.
System Requirements
The Timesite application is composed of a Database, a WebServer and Scheduling services. All users that record Time entries do so using a web browser.
The minimum Software Requirements.
Database Server
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and above.
- MSDE/SQL Express (the free runtime versions of MS SQL)
Web Server
- Microsoft IIS 5.0 onwards
Web browser
- IE 8.0 and above
- Firebox 4.0 and above
Technology
Our products are developed using C#, .NET and Ajax technologies. We use Web Services along with XML and XSLT to manage transactions between the application and database server.
All reporting features (incl. invoices) are developed using Crystal Reports 10 and as such are completely customisable. This choice of reporting tool allows customers to create their own custom reports that can be uploaded for immediate use from within our modules.
TimeSite is a fully scalable Timesheet and Billing solution that can support businesses of all sizes. For up to several hundred users, TimeSite can be run on the freely available Microsoft SQL Server Express. For larger enterprise sites, TimeSite supports SQL Server 2000 and all subsequent versions. As such TimeSite is a fully scalable solution.
